Brisbane Broncos fullback Reece Walsh has credited his two-year-old daughter with calming him down and helping him stay focused.

Walsh, 21, is a single father to daughter Leila. He said that being a father has taught him a lot about responsibility and has given him a new perspective on life.

"She's taught me a lot about patience and responsibility," Walsh said.

"She's also taught me to appreciate the little things in life. Just seeing her smile makes my day."

Walsh said that he often takes Leila to Broncos training sessions and games.

"She loves coming to training and watching me play," Walsh said.

"It's a great way for us to bond and spend time together."

Walsh said that he is grateful for the support of his family and friends.

"I'm lucky to have a great support network around me," Walsh said.

"My family and friends have been a great help to me, especially since I became a father."

Walsh is one of the most exciting young players in the NRL. He has represented Queensland and Australia at junior level and is seen as a future star of the game.
